A love letter to Silver

Truly I'm a silversmith since my love is for that beautiful malleable and now predictable, shiny metal of purity. SILVER. I love silver, when I'm sawing pieces and the silver dust goes everywhere and looks like it came straight from the moon like stardust. My favourite is when the sun beams through the port-holes of the boat and casts a golden glow that illuminates the silver so it appears magical. The kind of shimmer mermaids add to their hair and necklace, which brings me into water. Life on the water has changed me for the better as a continuous cruiser. I have ever changing scenery and therefore my community is never the same sure familiar faces. But always new too, consequently new cultures, people, energies, personalities. I've learnt so much about myself and life - it almost feels like travelling I guess in a way it is, just at 4 knots (slower than walking pace). Not as fast paced as journeying through 22 countries in 21 months, but that's a story for another time.
